Hello December!

The countdown has begun, it’s the 1^st of December and there are only three more weeks to pack in all the decorations, present wrapping and family visits. Here’s our guide to the Festive Season, In Easy Steps!

1. Have you discussed the plans for the big day itself? Home or away, it’s worthwhile planning travel arrangements, who is bringing what, and how many guests will be attending
2. It’s now officially December, so it is acceptable to get the tree, Christmas songs, lights and general holiday decorations out and organised, to properly get in the festive spirit!
3. Wrap up those gifts! Whether you are doing a Secret Santa, presents for the kids, or gestures of goodwill instead of another pair of socks, once they’re all ticked off and wrapped up, you’ll breath a sigh of relief. (Don’t forget to check out our Special Offers and Coming Soon titles!)
4. Timing is everything, especially when it comes to the food prep. Make a list for when everything needs to be in the oven, or on the stove, and stick it on the fridge

Make sure to rope in any little helpers for the vegetable peeling!

Less is often more when it comes to decorations, so find a theme and stick to it!

Check the weather forecast! Although a white Christmas is often reserved for the movies (at least here in Britain!), it’s handy to know whether you might need your wellies or not!
