Two years after the original Raspberry Pi was launched, the B+ version has just been released today.
It features:
- More GPIO – now 40 pins
- More USB – now has 4 USB 2.0 ports
- A Micro SD – the old SD card socket has been replaced with a push-push Micro SD version
- Lower power consumption – reduced by between 0.5W and 1W
- Better audio – the audio circuit incorporates a dedicated low-noise power supply
- A neater design
