It’s a valuable feature of Teams so that participants can view files that have been created or are being edited in real time:
1) During an audio or a video meeting with one person or a group, click on the Share button on the top toolbar.
2) The bottom half of the Meeting window contains options that can be shared. Click on one of the items to make this the active shared window.
3) The selected item is then visible to all of the participants of the meeting.
If you change what is being viewed on your own screen, this will also be visible to everyone in the meeting.
4) A thumbnail version of the meeting controls is displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of your own screen. Click anywhere within the thumbnail controls to return to the main Meeting window. The other participants will continue to see the shared window, but you can use the Meeting window for other tasks, such as inviting more participants or sending text messages within the meeting.
